RADOM Aviation Systems
Ltd. is an aeronautical company established in 1988.
RADOM’s mission is to provide its customers
with the expertise of its employees in the aerospace field in
the most cost effective way through the provision of engineering
design and manufacturing.
RADOM is also conducting applied research and
development of products, utilizing state of the art aerospace
technologies.
RADOM's staff comprise senior engineers with
vast experience in the aerospace industry and in the Israel
Air Force service. RADOM successfully applies
its competitive technologies and methodologies to military and
commercial aviation projects.
RADOM is performing engineering design and
development projects, as well as serial manufacturing implementation
of such projects.
RADOM has conducted projects in the aircraft
level such as the development of an advanced jet trainer aircraft,
major upgrading projects of military and civil aircraft including
integration of new avionics suits in a large variety of fighters,
trainers, transport aircraft and helicopters.
Military projects include supply and upgrade aircraft and helicopters
of Russian make with western avionics, armament systems and
observation payloads such as the MiG-21 Fighter, the An-32 Transport
and the MIL MI-8/MI-17 Helicopters.
Special mission aircraft conversions
with a broad spectrum of systems integration are part of the
core business of RADOM. Fixed wing aircraft
and helicopters of both Western and Eastern origin are modified
to carry special electronic and electro-optical equipment, while
the platform performance is maintained.
Civil projects included development of a civil trainer, including
flight tests and certification meeting FAR 23 requirements,
providing tooling for manufacture of the MD-11 airliner and
design of sections of IAI’s advanced Business Jets; the
Galaxy (G-200) and currently the G-150 in development.
RADOM has performed a major avionics upgrade
on a PC-9M trainer aircraft as a
prime contractor for the Slovenian Air Force. The advanced PC-9M
training aircraft upgraded by RADOM Aviation Systems
Ltd. made its debut at the 1999 Paris Air Show. It
is fully operational in the Slovenian Air Force.
RADOM is ISO 9001 certified and is a recognized
contractor for the Israeli MOD, Defense Ministries around the
globe and to leading Israeli and international aerospace enterprises.
