RADOM performed several upgrade projects of Western made helicopters, such as the Bell 205/212 models for several Customers, the Israel Air Force Sikorsky CH-53 and Blackhawks, the Russian MI-8 and MI-17 and Mi-24/35 helicopters.
The upgrades include integration of Western state of the art Avionics and mission systems; such as Radars, Self Protection and day-night surveillance and targeting systems.

Civil upgrades included full EFIS, Weather and Search Radar integration, installation of a Western standard passengers cabin (seats, furniture, isolation), and implementation of improved western instrumentation.

Military upgrades included Western avionics, installation of rocket launchers, machine gun pods and external fuel tanks, as well as adaptation of internal machine guns.
