RADOM, as a prime contractor, has performed a major avionics upgrade on a PC-9M trainer aircraft for the Slovenian Air Force. The upgrade includes installation of an advanced avionics system, navigation system, modern cockpit operation and displays, mission computer, store management system and armament system installation into the aircraft. The development and upgrade included performing all the analysis, the ground and flight tests of the aircraft.

The system uses both MIL-STD-1553B dual data bus and RS422/ARINC 429 data communication.
RADOM performed the system integration within its own facilities, while aircraft integration, armament system adaptation, ground and flight tests were conducted at the customer’s facilities.
